The weekend is finally here, bringing a perfect mix of family time, delicious food, and festive activities. After a busy week, the chance to relax at home with loved ones and pets feels like a true gift. With an event planned tomorrow and Easter Sunday just around the corner, the days ahead promise to be full of joy and memorable moments. Plus, the anticipation of an upcoming trip to San Francisco adds an extra layer of excitement.

Preparing for the Easter Egg Hunt at Snowbird Farm and Cidery

Tomorrow’s event at Snowbird Farm and Cidery is something to look forward to. The farm’s charming setting makes it an ideal place for an Easter egg hunt, especially with the fresh spring air and beautiful surroundings. Having 40 pounds of chicken ready for the event means there will be plenty of delicious food to share, which adds to the festive spirit.

Hosting one event each month has been a great way to maintain mental well-being while balancing caregiving responsibilities. Taking care of a grandmother is a blessing that requires patience and energy, and these events provide a refreshing break and a chance to connect with others.

Sharing a Delicious Meal with Mom

Food plays a big role in this weekend’s plans. Today’s meals were simple but satisfying. Breakfast started with toast topped with peanut butter and a scrambled egg, a classic combination that provides energy for the day. Lunch included mini peppers, cucumbers, turkey pepperoni, and Babybel cheese — a colorful and tasty mix of snacks that kept hunger at bay.

Dinner was a special treat shared with mom: a New York steak with prawns. Mom enjoyed all the side dishes, while the steak alone was enough to satisfy. The flavors were rich and comforting, perfect for a relaxing evening at home.

Looking Forward to San Francisco

The excitement doesn’t stop after Easter. A trip to San Francisco is on the horizon, promising new experiences and adventures. Exploring the city’s iconic landmarks, vibrant neighborhoods, and diverse food scene will be a refreshing change of pace. This trip is a well-deserved reward after months of hard work and caregiving.
